Anesthesiology — Anesthesiology is the medical specialty focusing on administering pain-killing drugs during surgery in the operating room. Anesthesiology also includes the field of Pain Management, a sub-specialty which helps manage chronic (ongoing) pain in patients with prescription medication, injections, or other therapeutic methods.
Bariatric — The branch of medicine that deals with the causes, prevention, and treatment of obesity. Surgeries may include, Lap-Band® duodenal switch, sleeve, and gastric bypass.
Ear, Nose & Throat — Otolaryngology is the medical specialty commonly known as "E.N.T." which stands for ear, nose, and throat. Otolaryngology includes office-based care, and surgical procedures both in the hospital and in the office. Therefore, a variety of practice environments and employers are available in this field.
General Surgery — A surgical operation or procedure, especially one involving the removal or replacement of a diseased organ or tissue. General Surgery deals with the diagnosis and treatment of injury, deformity, and disease by manual and instrumental means.
Gynecology — The branch of medicine dealing with health care for women, especially the diagnosis and treatment of disorders affecting the female reproductive organs.
Neurosurgery — Neurosurgery is a surgical specialty of medicine devoted solely to surgery of the brain.
Ophthalmology — Ophthalmology is the medical specialty focusing on treatment of the eyes, and retina. Not to be confused with an optometrist, ophthalmologists can also do eye surgery and prescribe medication unlike optometrists, who typically focus on eyesight correction and enhancement and prescription lenses.
Orthopedics — Orthopedic surgery entails surgery of the joints, bones, and muscles. Patients with sports injuries or injuries from an accident may be treated by orthopedic surgeons, as are patients with some types of arthritis in the joints which may be surgically repaired.

Spinal Surgery — The branch of medicine that focuses on the spine, specializing in complex spine surgery, cervical/lumbar spine disorders and spine deformities.
Sports Medicine — Sports Medicine provides appropriate care for all structures of the musculoskeletal system directly affected by participation in sporting activity.
Total Joint Surgery — Total joint surgery involves the replacement of a "worn out" joint with an "artificial" joint. Surgical treatment usually includes removal of bone and replacement of the diseased joint with metal and plastic.
Urology — Urology is the medical specialty involving diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of the urinary tract as well as the male reproductive system. Urology includes office-based care and surgical treatment.
Urogynecology — The field of urogynecology is a subspecialty within Obstetrics and Gynecology and is dedicated to the study and treatment of pelvic floor disorders in women, in all the various ways that it can present itself.
