TOSH has consistently ranked 2nd in the State of California for overall patient satisfaction based on survey data collected by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The Hospital CAHPS (HCAHPS) survey implemented by CMS collects data on measures that reflect:

- Receiving help from hospital staff
- Communication about new medicines
- Pain Control
- Room and bathroom cleanliness
- Quietness
- Discharge instructions
- Overall hospital experience

Chief Executive Officer
Robert C. Shaw
Robert C. Shaw brings many years of healthcare experience to his CEO position at Thousand Oaks Surgical Hospital. He most recently served as a health care consultant for clients such as the National Health Foundation and the Hospital Association of Southern California on projects such as Patient Safety Collaborative, various quality improvement initiatives, and medical staff development. Prior to doing consultant work, he served as President and CEO of Los Robles Regional Medical Center for seven years, overseeing major expansion programs which included a new $6.5 million Emergency Department, $5.3 million Coronary Care Unit, and a $120 million, 200,000 sq. ft. patient wing and 515-space parking structure. Mr. Shaw began his healthcare career as a Pharmacist at Yale-New Haven Medical Center, New Haven, Connecticut. He holds an MBA from Cornell University Graduate School of Business and Public Administration, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Connecticut. His professional and community affiliations include 2003 Chairman of the Board of the Hospital Association of Southern California, Vice-Chair of the Tobacco Settlement Allocation and Evaluation Oversight/Advisory Committee for Ventura County, 2000 Chairman of the Juvenile Diabetes Association "Walk to Cure Diabetes", and Member of the Board of Directors, Alliance for the Arts.
Chief Financial Officer
Craig Corley
Craig Corley brings over 14 years of experience in healthcare finance to his Director of Finance position at Thousand Oaks Surgical Hospital. He most recently served as Controller of Valley Presbyterian Hospital, a not-for-profit free standing hospital, located in Van Nuys, CA. He began his career in healthcare in 1992 as a Medicare fiscal intermediary with Aetna Life Insurance Company, and has spent his entire professional career in Southern California, working his way up in healthcare financial management. Craig holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge and has earned his CPA. He holds an affiliation with Healthcare Financial Management Association.
