Clinical:

PACU RN

Provides intensive observation and care for the post-operative patients for which an anesthetic agent or conscious sedation was used. Responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process and following facility and accepted standards of practice and care. Valid CA RN license, 2 yr. PACU nursing experience and BCLS cert. required, ACLS preferred.

Pre-Op RN (PRN,Days)

Responsible to care for patients in the Pre-op area. Greet family and escort patient to room. Assess chart for lab work, allergies, history and physical and administer medications. Supervise and direct other nursing and clinical staff. Facilitate progress of daily schedule and coordinate patient care. Valid CA state RN license and 2 yrs Pre-op/OR experience required.

Patient Care Technician (PRN Nights)

Provides assistance to licensed nursing personnel in the recovery of post-surgical and post-endoscopy patients. Also assists in pre-operative area in preparing patients for surgery and endoscopy procedures.  Acts as the patient’s advocate, assists in communication with family members as requested by physicians and nurses, performs diagnostic tests such as EKG as delegated and records vital signs and tasks performed in the patient record.  Requires High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 yr experience in post-surgical unit. 

Surgical RN
Able to circulate on all surgical specialties.  Requires current CA RN license, BLS certification and 2 years recent clinical experience in a surgical suite.  ACLS and CNOR preferred. 

Sterile Processing Tech
Assist with surgical instrument decontamination/sterilization/distribution, case prep, and oversight of surgical instrumentation and supply in accordance with all regulatory requirements and hospital policies.   Minimum of 2 years sterile processing, central supply, or instrument tech experience. 

Staff RN (Nights)
Provides general nursing and personal care assistance to patients. Assist the physicians with examinations, procedures and other processes and provides health care instructions and education to patient and family members. Valid CA RN license and 1 year inpatient nursing experience required.
